High Voltage Gain Multi-port Bidirectional DC-DC Converter with an Effective Multi-loop Control Strategy for PV/Battery Integrated Systems

This study proposes a novel isolated bidirectional multiport converter (MPC) based on switched-capacitor and half-bridge with an effective control scheme for photovoltaic (PV) powered battery buffered systems. The proposed power electronics interface integrates the converters to which ports are connected coupled common dc busbar high frequency transformer (HFT). Thus, three-port is formed without any need additional regulate flow. In addition, transfer from low voltage PV energy unit load, single switch DC-DC gain proposed. flow between controlled by multi-loop that able perform smooth transition loops. order validate viability effectiveness of MPC, 3 kW proof-of-concept model has been developed 220 V 12 Ah battery. performance analyzed different case studies, including dynamic operating loading conditions.
